I am a third year student studying Environmental Science at the University of Liverpool.
I am due to graduate with a 2:1 or above in June 2024 and am excited to start a job in the environmental industry after I gradaute.
In additon to the significant amount of industry specific experience gained throughout my time in education, I have also held a variety of roles in customer service and hospitality, each contributing to my skill set. At Co-op Group, I served customers, managed cash transactions, and provided assistance with inquiries. I have bartended, handling drink orders and cash in a fast-paced environment.
My time at Argos Plc involved using specialized tills and offering personalized customer support. As a sales advisor at Select, I efficiently managed my time, assessed customer needs, and maintained attractive merchandise displays. Additionally, I contributed to food preparation and customer service at Papa John's, ensuring accuracy and cleanliness.
Finally, as a waitress and bar person at a local pub I efficiently managed orders, remained calm under pressure, and delivered exceptional service to patrons.
Environmental Science undergraduate degree. Includes research skills, natural hazards, dissertation, glaciology, global carbon cycle, fluvial environments, coastal environments, environmental system simulation, and study skills for success.
Use of a variety of softwares including QGIS, RStudio, Excel, Matlab, Python, Minitab.
Conduction of fieldwork including dissertation data collection, flood risk mapping, property surveys, group fieldtrips, and a variety of data collection methods in coastal, river, grassland and woodland environments.
