Young Carer at Family (Present)

I have been a young carer for the past three years for my mum. I have taken on the role of looking after the house, our dogs, and my mum as she has been ill for the past three years with cancer. This has given me life skills such as cooking, organizing, appreciation of hard work and budgeting skills.

I have developed: communication skills, resilience, confidence, and I have become more independent as well more patient with everything.
