I am an accomplished commercial marketer with extensive experience supporting NYES and the newly established Active North Yorkshire Leisure service, both offering traded services on behalf of North Yorkshire Council. In my current role, I specialise in developing and executing innovative digital marketing campaigns that:
My deep interest in Digital Marketing has driven me to specialize in this area, where I continuously research and implement the latest trends to drive traffic and generate leads through Social Media, Content, and Digital Marketing strategies. I am dedicated to staying at the forefront of industry developments to ensure the success of the campaigns I manage.
I am passionate about leveraging my expertise to create impactful marketing solutions that deliver measurable results. My commitment to excellence and continuous improvement ensures that I consistently achieve and exceed marketing objectives.
aving enjoyed 6 vibrant years in the marketing industry within my role of Digital Marketing Team Leader at Purple Creative Studio and Commercial Marketing Account Manager at North Yorkshire Council I am now keen to implement all of the skills and ideas I have learnt throughout my career so far to take on a new challenge within a passionate marketing team to support England Athletics in providing opportunities for everyone to enjoy running and athletics.
As outlined on my CV, I was proud to progress within my role at Purple Creative Studio - growing our client base and managing budgets to allow us to recruit team members. I was able to mentor an apprentice to achieve their professional qualifications and I also undertook a certificate in the Principles of Team Leading. Within my current role I have progressed to oversee the marketing of the education service, working with not only the wider marketing team but also others including external agencies, operations colleagues and sales teams to lead project groups to meet agreed objectives. This involves working with all parties to devise an annual marketing plan in line with targets, capacity for delivery, resource available and consideration of budget vs. ROI.
Having supported lots of small businesses within my first role at Purple Creative Studio I opted to move on to North Yorkshire Council as I wanted to use my skills to benefit my local community - I felt I wanted to not just focus on monetary targets but also see how my profession could help to improve peoples lives through the support offered through an organisation such as a local authority. I have thoroughly enjoyed being able to do this and have worked on some important projects such as improving access to free school meals for children through not only more effective marketing and communications, but also driving bigger change by assisting in the process of a new online system being developed for applications. This transformed the free school meals application process from being a paper form written only in English, to an online system available on any device and in any language.
I have completed a BA Hons Degree in Marketing Mangement, obtaining a 2:1 grade.
