About

Compassionate, emotionally intelligent and highly organised professional with extensive experience working directly with people from a wide range of backgrounds. Recently completed a Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Domestic Abuse and now looking to build a meaningful career supporting victims and survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. I have developed strong interpersonal and communication skills throughout my career, particularly through working independently with clients in a trusted, confidential and highly personal environment.

I am approachable, non-judgemental and able to build positive relationships while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries. My understanding of domestic abuse has been strengthened through both formal study and personal lived experience of domestic abuse and sexual assault. This has given me a strong appreciation of the importance of listening without judgement, respecting individual choice, maintaining dignity and helping people feel safe and heard.

I recognise that lived experience is not a substitute for professional expertise and am committed to developing my knowledge further through training, supervision and practical experience. I am now seeking an opportunity within victim support, domestic abuse, sexual abuse, advocacy or related safeguarding services where I can use my existing transferable skills while continuing to develop professionally.
