I am a hardworking, evidence-based Physician Associate with over 2 years post qualification experience. I hold a Masters degree from the university of Worcester where I studied to be a Physician Associate. My undergraduate degree was undertaken at the university of Cardiff where I graduated with honours in medical pharmacology.
I was involved with the setting up of care home ward rounds in South Somerset to fulfil the DES contract and have been involved with QOF work alongside working as a clinician in an urgent care hub within a busy primary care setting. This has afforded me well rounded experience within a PCN and within a single large practice. Being one of the first Physician Associates working within primary care in South Somerset has allowed me to develop the role and demonstrate how Physician Associates can be a valued part of the multi-disciplinary team.
