I have experience within retail work, bar work and cleaning experience. I have been very fortunate to have over 16 years cleaning experience. I had the opportunity to develop several transferable skills such as communication, hard worker, team worker.
Leading on, I have previously been a cleaning supervisor. Good knowledge of COSHH and health and safety of a workplace. When it comes to retail experience, I have also learned several skills such as communication, good memory when it comes to knowing the layout of a shop always a hard worker and punctual.

After two weeks as working as a cleaner, I was then very fortunate to be promoted to a supervisor role. This job title included the general cleaner roles such as, hovering, polishing, mopping dusting. However, due to being supervisor there was more to the job title such as, managing staff members, giving the roles of what to do, checking their areas are cleaned to high expectations, plan and create a Rota (which taught me time managing skills) order cleaning supplies for myself and rest of cleaning staff.

As the cleaner of the school my main responsibilities were hovering carpets such as in corridors, classrooms and the main reception where was visible to the public, dusting which would be multiple places such as children's desks, communal areas such as the main reception where the public may see. With it being a high school it was a lot bigger compared to previous experience. This time i ask required to clean down stairs which included hovering, mopping and wiping down the banister.
