I am a dedicated medical doctor with interest in Surgery and Emergency and General Medicine. The best part of my Job is monitoring patient outcomes and making changes to improve these outcomes. I like music, as I play the piano, violin and guitar, and now learning the cello. In my spare time, I read personal development books and play video games.
I am currently at SHO level. During my SHO year, I worked in medical and Surgical emergency units, oncology ward and Infectious disease department. That was in 2021/2022. In July 2022, I moved to the UK with the aim of improving my career. Since then, I worked as a senior carer, filed supervisor and help with rota coordinating for a domiciliary company while I studied for my PLAB exams. Now I am registered with GMC and ready to move on to full time medical practice.
I graduated from University of Sierra Leone, College of medicine and Allied Health Sciences in 2019, completed my House job, recently completed my STI foundation one, two and three course, ALS with Resus Uk and currently preparing for a Basic surgical skills training with Royal college of Surgeons in December. I recently completed a Clinical Observership in Whittington Hospital Surgical Department.
