I plan to continue my education in veterinary medicine or nursing, I am currently studying applied science at college in order to keep progressing. I am looking for a role related to the profession, as I am keen to gain as much experience as I can in preparation for my future university or apprenticeship applications. As I am going to be enrolled part time at Berkshire College of Agriculture in 6 months to study animal management Level 3, I am looking for a job that involves working with animals as the college encourages this.
I am currently employed at Thorpe Park Resort as a retail host, where I have been working since September 2022, this involves dealing with customers in a fast paced and quickly changing environment, while also working closely with other members of the team. Throughout my time working at Thorpe Park I have experienced a range of the popular events hosted there during the busier school holiday periods when guest capacity is very high, meaning I regularly work long and often late closing shifts. My experience working at a theme park means that I am confident communicating with all age groups who visit the park, the best part of my job is probably talking to families about their experiences with the rides and events throughout the day.

In terms of animal care experience, I have previously volunteered on a farm caring for sheep, chickens and horses as well as rescuing small animals from poor conditions.
