I recently graduated from Swansea University with a 2:1 in joint English Literature & History and I am now looking to pursue my career in content writing. I am confident in my ability to adapt my skills obtained through previous roles and studying for my degree to surpass any expectations of me. My degree gave me the opportunity to expand on my research, writing and analytical skills.
The years I spent working in hospitality in addition to my current role has allowed me to apply these skills, as I have to continually communicate sympathetically with clients, understand their needs and ultimately provide them with the best service possible. I thrive in the opportunity to expand on my extensive skills obtained throughout university and to write for a range of purposes. With the history aspect of my degree, I am now able to assess large quantities of information and determine its significance and apply it to suit any agenda.
I have proven myself able to apply these skills to any role expected of me. My current employment has allowed me to continue to show myself as a quick and confident learner and both an analytical and creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.
I have a number of years experience in Hospitality.
My most recent employment is as a ‘Client Liaison Representative’. This role includes assessing information included in claims, determining what further information is required to submit the claim and communicating with clients and external businesses to gather the necessary details.
