Experienced science teacher with NASENCo and Masters in Educational Psychology
I have six years’ experience teaching secondary science, specialising in Biology, across Key Stages 3 and 4. I have a strong track record of planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons, supporting a wide range of abilities and needs. I previously worked for two years as a Teaching Assistant, which strengthened my skills in differentiation, behaviour support, and individual student provision.
I am a qualified NASENCo and have experience supporting SEND practice at whole-school and classroom level, working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies. In addition to my teaching role, I have worked as a GCSE Biology examiner, ensuring a secure understanding of assessment criteria and exam expectations. My practice is reflective and evidence-informed, with a strong focus on student engagement, progress, and wellbeing.
