Boots Beauty Specialist - Boots Plymouth - Plymouth

In my current role I am a Boots Beauty Specialist, meaning that I work as an unbiased sales advisor across all of the brands that feature within the premium hall. This means that I have an extensive knowledge across the brands and the ranges of products. This includes haircare, skincare, body care, make-up and wellness products.

I aim to provide a premium experience to my customers which includes providing personalised consultation and recommendations for products. Aside from sales my role focusses on maintaining a high standard across the store including stock organisation, visual merchandising and promotional launches.

Sales Assistant - Body Shop Plymouth - Plymouth

Working at The Body Shop Plymouth has helped further develop my skills regarding customer service and the retail industry. I ensured that I had a good understanding of all of the products so that it was easier for me to help support customers when finding suitable products. I also would make sure that throughout my shift stock was replenished when needed and that the shop was clean and tidy.

As I became more secure in my role, I would also help carry out tasks such as safe counts and stock transfers and would take on certain supervisor responsibilities. My employment has ceased due to the store's closure.

Sales Assistant - Boux Avenue - Plymouth

Whilst working at Boux Avenue it allowed me to develop my retail skills including interactions with customers and helping them with any of their needs. In addition to this, I helped with the stock replenishment, organising it on the shop floor and the stock room. I had to ensure the products were suitably displayed for customer sales. I was introduced to the tills and handling cash and card payments. Seasonal vacancy (Christmas role).

Café Assistant - Devils Point Café - Plymouth

Working under the direction of the owner, I assist with taking, preparing and serving the customer's orders. This has given me experience with handling cash payments. I ensure that the food preparation areas are clean and that kitchen equipment is clean to ensure that the food and drink orders are not delayed. I help with stock rotation and unloading and storing deliveries of stock. Seasonal employment.
