Within this role I run my own clinics which has enabled me to become confident in prioritising my own workload whilst recognising when certain tasks require priority. I have become competent in a variety of skills and knowledge which ensures I work in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Code by ensuring safe and effective care is consistently met.

Working within a busy nurse led oncology department. Working in Oncology has enabled me to learn and adapt to a very different skill set in comparison to primary care. Within this role, I have quickly adapted to deal with emergency situations that may arise, and I am confident in calmly dealing with these situations when they arise. Oncology can be emotionally challenging and I take great pride in being an advocate for all patients whilst supporting them throughout their journey.
