After relocating to London from Auckland in 2022, I spent nine months as i-D Magazine’s Production Manager (FTC) - being the point of contact for all image production, retouching, reprographics and completion of the magazine with our design, print and distribution teams. This role managed in-house creatives, freelancers on a global scale, art directors, and multiple vendors.
I currently work for Port Magazine as Special Projects Manager / Production Lead, managing shoot pre- and post-production for all magazine editorial and covers, advertising, sponsored projects, events, image and video content creation. The role deals with vendors, clients, talent agents, our in-house creative and editorial teams, managing Ports social media, booking creative teams on a global scale, negotiating rates, organising travel, booking studios and managing outsourced production companies. I oversee the projects from pitching to completion.
Previous to my time at i-D and Port, I spent seven years at New Zealand and Australia’s leading fashion title, Black Magazine, as Deputy Editor, Fashion Editor and finally Managing Editor and Commercial Director, overseeing local and international content on digital, print, video, and social - being the main point of contact for all editorial, shoots, advertising, sponsored projects and events.
