Ethan Cannonier

My name is Ethan Cannonier and I am a freelance music producer who specialises in genres such as: Hip Hop, R&B/Neo-Soul and also Electronica. I have been in the industry for 5 years now with numerous releases within my discography.

I began making music in college in 2016 where I learnt about the fundamentals about audio signals, music theory, music business, audio recording and also collaboration.

This learning projected me into pursuing a university degree at Leeds Conservatoire where I would extend my knowledge in previously stated areas whilst also learning newer concepts such as numerous philosophies around music, history of music and even production techniques that would finesse my music making ability.

Whilst being in the music industry for 5 years, I have taken the time mostly to learn and refine my craft as I want to cover as much ground of the industry as possible. I have released numerous of songs including a an instrumental hip-hop EP named, “ESTRANGED” which i released in February 2021. The EP takes on inspiration and concepts from producers such as, Knxwledge, J Dilla, 9th Wonder and The Alchemist (just to name a few).

I have also created a number of sample packs which contain self-made synth pads, leads and basses.

I have a good understanding of audio recording as I have been using professional recording studios for 5 years ranging from studios in my educational institution or world renowned recording studios such as Parr Street Studios in Liverpool.
