Ethan TingHon Choi

I am currently studying Creative Media Studies at Chelmsford College in Essex. I am curious about new and different skills outside of academic study. In December 2023 I started my journey in Wing Chun Kung Fu, which has given me much insight into the importance of discipline, hard work, and resilience.

The discipline requires that I work well with others to learn and practice the philosophy and moves involved. Through my stepdad's business in the travel industry, I have experienced customer-facing situations taking part in sales promotions during exhibitions. I have been exposed to the real-life workings of marketing, sales promotions, and exhibition setup.

I am aware and not afraid of working long hours to achieve a goal. I have also done volunteer work under my Wing Chun instructor's agency, in the self-defence industry, which has given me experience of talking and presenting myself in a crowd which requires confidence when facing customers and being able to answer their questions with clear answers.
