My name is Eugenia and I'm a Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor and Dancing Teacher. I'm very passionate about sharing my love and passion for healthy and active lifestyle with others and it's not just a job for me, but something I truly can't live without.
I would like to tell a little bit more about the range of my expertise. I'll describe some of my knowledge, experience and skills below.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of Anatomy (muscle groups, role of connective tissue (tendons, ligaments, fascia), understanding of nerve system response and recovery, etc.)
- Knowledge of correct technique for performing a variety of fitness and dancing exercises
- Good knowledge of nutrition for sports and daily life (calorie intake, macros balance, NEAT, metabolic adaptation phenomenon, reverse dieting principles, etc.)
- Knowledge of various Fitness and Conditioning Programmes and Dancing Styles
- Knowledge of principles of muscle memory activation and proper body alignment for dancing and fitness activities (based on Progressing Ballet Technique)
- Knowledge of principles of Alexander Technique which helps my clients and students with understanding of the principles of weight transfer and allows to avoid unnecessary tension during the performance of the exercises and in daily life
- Knowledge of safe stretching principles (myotatic reflex, connective tissue in stretching, nutrition and stretching, dynamic and passive stretching, etc.)
- Understanding of the principles of developing and improving the turnout in the most safe ways
- Knowledge of Joe Weider's Body Building Principles which also can be applied to any physical training
- Knowledge of principles of physical assessment
- Knowledge of warmup and cooldown principles
- Knowledge of specifics of creating fitness programmes for different age groups
Experience
- Experience of Personal Training of people of different age (kids 4+ and adults 60+) and with different level of physical ability and health conditions
- Experience of running numerous Fitness and Dancing Classes (Body Sculpt, programmes for Glutes, Upper Body and Whole Body, Conditioning, Flexibility, Zumba, Stretching, Barre, Body Ballet, Contemporary Dance, Freestyle Dance, Latin, etc)
- Experience of working with people with injuries (knees, hips, elbows, shoulders) and scoliosis
- Experience of working with people with special needs
