I am a dedicated and compassionate individual with hands-on experience in health and social care settings, particularly within mental health and educational support environments. Having recently completed a Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification with a grade of DDM, I have developed a strong understanding of supporting vulnerable individuals and promoting positive wellbeing. I am passionate about helping others, improving quality of life, and creating safe and supportive environments.
I am now seeking an opportunity where I can apply my skills, continue learning, and make a positive contribution to the lives of others.
Placement - Mental Health Support at Changes Wellbeing
Worked with children and young people aged 5 to 18 within a range of wellbeing group sessions. This experience allowed me to develop a greater understanding of the mental health challenges faced by young people and how supportive interventions can positively impact their wellbeing.
Placement - Educational Support at Merryfields School
Supported children with a variety of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Working alongside experienced teachers, I observed and assisted with classroom activities, behaviour management strategies, and daily support tasks.
Placement - Healthcare Observation at Harplands Hospital
Attended on a weekly basis, gaining valuable insight into various healthcare departments. Observed and participated in areas including pharmacy services, infection prevention and control, administrative office work, and a supervised visit to a female acute ward.
