I am a highly motivated and reliable individual, who likes to learn new things and works hard. I consider myself to be very easy going and interact well with others. I am a highly organised individual who works effectively both independently and as part of a team.

I thrive on new challenges and love to learn new things. I have my own values and principles in life which are very important to me, however I will also adhere to all policies and procedures set out within a workplace. I am open to learning new things and would greatly welcome any additional training or course which may be relevant to any job post if required.

For the past 3 years I have worked within my local authority within a childcare nursery setting, watching and learning and helping the development and growth of children with all different aspects and needs.

Dance teaching assistant - Slay Dance Company

(2022-01)

I currently teach dance part time to younger children, this allows me to interact with children and parents, teach children how to show self-confidence and build self esteem through dance, this allows them to learn and develop. Throughout this dancing/ teaching role we are part of a huge dance competition circuit where all the children learn to complete, work as part of a team and reach their full potential.

Hairdressing junior - Auburn and blush salon

I have also worked as a hairdressing junior in a very busy local salon, this salon is always fully booked and therefore I can work at a fast pace, I have to liaise with members of the public and work as part of a team on a daily basis, I have had to undertake all household duties within the salon and adhere to all health and safety measures and policies and procedures which are set out within this workplace.

• Responsible for the welcoming of clients each day, making them feel comfortable and making sure they are booked in on the system
• Washed hair, took out foils, curl / dry hair, managed/ learned new styles
• Made tea/coffee, ran errands
• Answered the phones and managed all bookings for all of the workers within the salon (hairdressers, beauty therapists, makeup artists and nail technician)
• Ensured colleagues are not double booked and that they have sufficient enough time with each client throughout the day/ week
