I am a highly active and motivated individual who has always enjoyed being involved in sports and physical activities. Throughout secondary school, I regularly participated in sports and was part of the running team where I competed in track events across the Borough of Hounslow. These experiences helped me develop discipline, teamwork, and resilience.
Being physically active has taught me the importance of commitment, organization, and working collaboratively with others to achieve shared goals. Outside of school, I am also an older sister with several siblings, including one who lives with sickle cell disease. Supporting my family has helped me develop empathy, patience, and strong communication skills, as well as the ability to adapt and be flexible in different situations.
I am able to stay on my feet for long periods and consistently put full effort into everything I do, no matter what the role requires. I do not give up easily and remain focused and determined in all situations. I am physically fit and healthy, which allows me to handle demanding tasks such as working on busy shop floors, assisting customers, supporting team members, or completing physically active duties like restocking and maintaining clean workspaces.
I am also able to multitask and work well under pressure, whether that involves serving customers, handling multiple responsibilities at once, or adapting quickly during busy periods. I stay calm, reliable, and efficient in all environments and am always ready to take on any task required of me.

I volunteered at a sickle cell program working with young children and families affected by sickle cell disease and I was chosen for this experience as someone who has a relative with sickle cell. Sickle cell is an inherited blood disorder where red blood cells become abnormally shaped, which can restrict blood flow and cause pain, fatigue, and other health complications. My role in the retreat involved supporting children during outdoor activities, ensuring the safe use of equipment, and engaging them in games and group interactions.
I spoke to the children in an age-appropriate way about their condition to help them feel comfortable and supported. This experience strengthened my communication, safeguarding awareness, and empathy skills. It also required patience and attentiveness to individual needs, demonstrating my ability to create a supportive and safe environment, which makes me well suited to roles that involve responsibility, teamwork, and working with others.

I also worked as a student teaching assistant in a physical education class, supporting two students with autism. My role involved helping them engage in activities and encouraging participation, particularly as they did not always feel comfortable interacting with others in the class. I adapted tasks where needed, provided reassurance, and helped them build confidence in participating in physical activities as well as joining in with activities such as 100m sprints and girl's football.
This role required patience, understanding, and the ability to adapt my communication style to meet individual needs. Through this experience, I developed strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and the ability to support individuals in a calm and encouraging manner. These skills demonstrate my ability to work inclusively with people from different backgrounds and needs, making me a suitable candidate for roles that require compassion, responsibility, and effective communication.
