I am a motivated soon to be Psychology graduate with a particular interest in early development. Throughout my teens and studies I have also gained over 7 years of experience in retail and hospitality, including bar and floor positions in fine dining restaurants, family restaurants, and large-scale events. These roles have enabled me to develop excellent communication, teamwork, leadership, and customer service skills while working effectively in fast-paced environments.
Waitress - Wivenhoe house hotel

As part of this role, I was responsible for both opening and closing shifts, including setting up and serving breakfast, taking and delivering room service orders, and preparing the restaurant for lunch service. During closing shifts, I ensured the restaurant was thoroughly cleaned and ready for the following day.
House is also a training hotel for University of Essex hospitality students, I regularly supported and guided new trainees, helping them learn service procedures and maintain high standards. This experience strengthened my leadership, organisation, and managerial abilities while reinforcing the importance of delivering exceptional customer service.
Customer service assistant - Lidl

For this role I was stationed within one of the busiest stores in the UK. I was trained across multiple departments, including the bakery, tills, warehouse, and shop floor. My responsibilities included replenishing stock, maintaining store presentation, processing deliveries, handling customer transactions, processing returns, and assisting customers with a variety of enquiries.
Working in such a busy environment significantly improved my ability to remain calm under pressure, manage competing priorities, and deliver excellent customer service throughout all this.
Waitress - Cote Restaurants

I worked as a waitress at this French fine dining restaurant. My responsibilities included setting up and maintaining my section, ensuring cleanliness throughout service, and providing attentive, professional customer care. I received extensive training in food safety, allergens, and dietary requirements, allowing me to confidently assist customers with a wide range of needs and respond calmly and professionally in challenging situations.

Since January 2018, I have worked for several agencies, including HAP, Mint People, and ZA Staffing. Through these agencies, I have gained experience in a wide variety of roles within multiple different settings- ranging from large festivals such as Boomtown, All points East and Racecourses, to more intimate weddings and family events.
