During my time working at Dixie Dot, I gained valuable work experience and developed confidence in a professional working environment. I worked with customers of all ages, providing friendly and welcoming customer service and helping to create a positive experience for everyone who visited. My role involved supporting customers during activities by teaching them how to use clay and assisting them whenever they needed help.
I also used the till and handled customer orders responsibly and accurately. In addition, I helped create baby footprints in clay and assisted with glazing and preparing clay items. I was also responsible for helping to maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace, which strengthened my teamwork, communication, and responsibility skills.
