Student Volunteer at Flutterbies Childminding (2023-01 – Present)

During my Year 10 Work Experience in 2023 I gained insight in the field of childcare. I spent a week working as a volunteer at a childminders in which I got a first hand experience of what routes I could go down if I wanted to work with children in the future.

• Helped organise age appropriate activities
• Helped the children prepare for school including reading, writing and counting
• Helped the children understand boundaries

Volunteer Assistant at Charity (2025-09 – 2025-12)

During my 3 month work experience at a charity I not only gained valuable skills but I also gained experience working in retail. When I first started in the September I was learning and adjusting to the fast paced environment, meaning for the first few weeks I was working in stock and ensuring that newly delivered items were ready to be put onto shelves. However, once I adjusted to the environment I was put onto the shop floor in which I attended to customers and showed excellent customer service.
