I have vast experience working outdoors in all weather’s, and have 10 years Telehandler experience. I have mostly worked in the construction industry looking after various yards and assisting the site agents where needed.
I have training in Workplace Health and Safety, and am currently first aid trained.
I have also received training in Competent Person Schemes.
My education was in Ecology and Environmental management studying at Dundee University.
I also have working experience as a gardener and general labourer. I relocated back to Scotland on 24th April 2023, after spending almost 20 years in England, working for the last 10 years with Anwyl Homes, where I was being considered for a site agent position.

2013 – present Currently working for Anwyl Homes And Construction as a site based Telehandler driver, on various sites. Duties here include maintaining good site housekeeping (including use of road sweeper attachment), loading and unloading scaffold bays of various materials, keeping track of materials, adhering to site safety rules and ensuring others do so.
2013 – 2013 Transferred through TUPE into Balfour Beatty as yardman, duties as
Yardman included use of Telehandler for loading & unloading of deliveries, pipe coils into coil trailers for transportation to site, keeping yard to high standard of housekeeping, receiving and booking out of traffic management materials.
2006 – 2013 Employed in Stores at Morgan Est/Sindall plc as yardman and as environmental response. Duties as Yardman included use of telehandler for loading & unloading of deliveries, pipe coils into coil trailers for transportation to site, keeping yard to high standard of housekeeping, daily and weekly audit checks, COSHH, liaising closely with SHEE department, training new yard employees, overseeing safe use of telehandler, arranging skip exchanges with Biffa and Uponor,
monthly stock takes, control of materials in and out (i.e. traffic management, pe fittings, pe coils and deep excavation materials), holiday cover in other yards, computer cover booking stock in/out and stock control using mysap. In these duties I have been mainly left to manage my own time and prioritise jobs.
2005 – 2006 Employed as assistant gardener with Traditional Charcoal,
I have become more confident in mowing, hedge trimming,
cutting back foliage, tree planting, uprooting, lawn feeding,
fencing(erecting) and Newt fencing, driving small tractor with various attachments. I have had supervisory experience,
providing cover for foreman as and when necessary.
2004 - 2005 Working with Kay’s gardening services, I have gained much experience in pond building, drystane dyking, fertilizing,
mowing, hedge trimming, cutting back foliage, paving,
weeding, planting, uprooting, small tree felling, scarifying,
lawn feeding, gravel bed laying, fencing (erecting/painting)
and patio laying. I have used machinery such as a rotavator and a blow vac in my time here.
2002 – 2002 Working on a local farm, owned by Mr J Gray, I gained my initial experience in general farm work, which includes; poly tunnel erecting, pipe laying, fertilizing, communication, and how to work as part of a small team and on my own initiative.
2001 – 2002 An assembly line worker with Presentation Products, a Gift
Wrap Manufacturer, with such Clients as Jonnie Walker,
Marks and Spencer and W.H. Smith. Duties included,
Training on and Handling machinery, Quality Control,
And health and safety at work issues.
