Experience

Casual Worker - Coffee Rush

I currently work casually for Coffee Rush, my experience here has benefited me in a many ways. I have been able to test myself working under the pressure of busy shifts in different locations. I have learnt how to work with different people as event work can mean different people each time, this has helped me to socialise outside of my friendship group & has also helped me in other areas.

This role has also given me valid teamwork experience as I've constantly been on shifts with different people & I have got along with them all well. As well as providing me with the knowledge of making a wide range of coffees, I am able to handle the payment side of things also. I really enjoy this role as it has allowed me to gain experience in various areas and work with a wide range of people and the public, especially at the 1st light festival.

Work Experience - Hammond Nissan - Halesworth

(2023 - 2023)

I did my work experience at Hammond Nissan in Halesworth, I was pleased that a positive report was returned to my school. During my time at Hammond's, I had to complete various tasks to help my more experienced peers, some of these were:

  • Fixing tires
  • cleaning air filters and swapping out air conditioning units
  • recalibrated a gear box

Work Experience - Kirkley and Pakefield FC

(2021 - 2021)

I gained work experience with Kirkley and Pakefield football club where, for a year I helped teaching young children how to play football. There I learnt more on what it means to be part of a team and have fun meeting new people.

  • contributed to training drills and exercises so that the children could play football safely and have fun
