I’m a cybersecurity professional and IT manager with a strong focus on improving cyber resilience and managing technology operations. I’m currently pursuing a master’s degree in cybersecurity, where my research focuses on securing maritime operations. I also run a consultancy business called VanillaSec, through which I help organisations strengthen their cybersecurity posture and implement effective, practical solutions.

I’m a cyber security and IT management professional with extensive experience leading secure digital transformation initiatives. Currently serving as IT Manager in the maritime industry, I focus on enhancing operational resilience, managing vendors, and implementing enterprise-grade solutions—such as a recent transition from Splunk to Microsoft Sentinel.

I hold CISM and Associate C-CISO certifications and am pursuing a master’s degree in cyber security. My work spans governance, risk management, and compliance, with a deep understanding of the challenges in critical infrastructure sectors. I'm also the founder of VanillaSec, a consultancy firm that supports small and mid-sized businesses in strengthening their cyber defences.
