I have developed strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills through responsibilities such as operating the till and restocking shelves. Retail Assistant at White Rose Market Square (2026-07 – Present)

• Dealing with different types of customers every day. I learnt patience, communication, confidence and how to handle different personalities.
• Handling money and transactions by operating a till, processing card and cash payments, giving customers their receipt, handle refunds and exchanges, and learning how to identify pricing errors. I learnt accuracy and responsibility.
• Working under pressure during weekends, sales and promotions, and lunchtime or after-school hours. I learnt time management, staying calm, and prioritising tasks.
• Working alongside colleagues with different personalities, ages and working styles. I learnt teamwork and adaptability.
• Besides serving customers, I also completed everyday tasks, such as replenishing stock, organise shelves and displays, unpack deliveries and keeping the shop floor tidy. I learnt how to master organisation, discipline and attention to detail.
• Understanding work place expectations by learning punctuality, following instructions, professional behaviour, receiving feedback from managers, and understanding workplace policies.
