About

I am a current 5th year student at Peterhead Academy seeking to gain work experience within my community. As a student of Creative Arts, I am passionate about hair and makeup, both in theatrical aspects and the MUA industry. I have lots of experience within the theatre, working backstage during our drama school productions (both assessed and non-assessed) where I have made and implemented designs for the cast and ensemble.

This required good time management, attention to detail, high levels of organisation, improvisation and communication skills. Outside of school, I am included in a band as the lead vocalist and electric guitar 2.

Experience

Lead hair & makeup designer at Peterhead Academy (2025-01 – Present)

PASTA Drama Club

Lead hair & makeup designer for between 20-30 cast members.
Worked with other designers (Lighting, Costume etc,) to ensure practical designs for every actor.
Planned designs around script, time periods, location, trends & cast preferences.
Planned and performed allergy tests prior to designing & production.
Worked with quick changes or any sudden changes needed for the designs.
Ensured hygiene protocols were followed for everyone.
Design process required communication, creativity & organisation skills.
High levels of focus, improvisation & ability to work under pressure (solo & as part of a team).

Languages Ambassador at Peterhead Academy (2024-01 – 2025-12)

Encouraged younger people to be involved with languages & culture.
I planned events, ran the languages club with another student, & hosted meetings.
Punctuality & communicative skills required.
