Fartashia Asif

Hello!

I am a Canadian 1L law student at the University of Leicester. I have previously completed a BSc from the UofC in Canada. I have also volunteered for many years at the Children's Hospital and several retirement homes. I enjoy volunteering in my free time or watching movies.

I worked for 6 months on a temporary contract at the Sweet Tooth Cafe in Lloydminster, Alberta in 2016. In this role, I worked in front and back of the house as it was a small cafe in a fitness center. This helped me gain experience in both roles.

I also did freelance babysitting for many years. Babysitting gave me many skills and taught me to act fast and think on my feet. I worked at the Home Depot in Lloydminster. This work also gave me customer service experience, as well as cash handling experience.

I worked for 3 months on a temporary contract at Urban Outfitters located in Calgary, Alberta in 2019/2020. This gave me retail experience and customer service experience.

I have completed a 5 year BSc in Natural Sciences from the University of Calgary with my concentrations being Chemistry and Geology. I am currently in my first year of Law School at the University of Leicester.
