I am a humble, flexible, self motivated, innovative, competent, courageous and compassionate Nurse with over 4 years of experience in Emergency unit, medical/surgical ward, paediatrics,out patient department, Intensive care unit and currently works in the medical-Surgical ward.
I deliver efficient and effective nursing care to my patient, I'm well known by my employer and colleagues as a team player,caring, competent proactive,good decision maker, delegation skills. I maintain a commendable interpersonal relationship with people around me with strong passion for health and i have great communication skills, record keeping and proper documentation.
I am able to work as a team member in a multi disciplinary setting, uphold the NMC codes of Ethics and ability to give high quality cost effective outstanding care to patient.
I possess excellent critical thinking skills and ensure that all staff act in accordance with the trust policies such as confident obligation, infection prevention and control, Maslow hierarchy care like love and belongings,safety and security,self esteem and actualization of patients needs and others.
In my current role as a Nursing officer, i have experienced working on a medical and surgical adult unit with more specialties such as Cardiovascular, Gastrointestinal, Endocrine, Respiratory, Haematology, Reproductive attentions like Hypertension and Hypotension, Hyperglycemia and Hypoglycemia, Sickles cell crises, Anaphylactic shock,Heart attacks and others.I ensure that i carried out every plans made on patient with Nursing process guiding them.
I have completed NMC UK application process and have gotten my decision Letter/Authorization to test for OSCE having done my IELTS exam with an over all band score 8.0 ( L-8.5 R7.5 w8 S 7.5) and Successfully completed part one NMC test of Competence (CBT).
