Finley Hood

I have just completed an extended diploma in engineering technologies at Tdcar and Cleveland college. I am currently seeking an electrical entering apprenticeship to help me start a life long career in the engineering world. I am always looking to better my knowledge in anything that I do, whether that’s taking part in a hobby or when I was completing tasks at college.

I have completed a weeks worth of work experience at Icl port Clarence. This week consisted of me helping the electrical and mechanical maintenance technicians in installing an acid pump line.

I completed a 2 year college course at Redcar and Cleveland college In which I received an Extended Diploma in engineering technologies, I achieved a distinction in this. The first year of my course was mechanical based, this was using basic hand tools and machines suck as a, lathe and pillar drills. The second year of my course was a predominantly electrical based with some units of PLCS, and fluid power.
