CARER - STEDMUNDS CARE HOME

My role as a carer was to assist residents with daily tasks i.e washing, dressing, applying creams, assist with meals and refreshments. My roll included a lot of moving and handling for residents who were unable to assist themself without the use of hoists. My work days would involve a lot of teamwork and communication in order for residents to be happy and well.
DOMESTIC - STEDMUNDS CARE HOME

For a sort period of time at Stedmundes i joined the domestic team, duties included, cleaning and maintaining residents rooms where kept clean, insuring communal areas were kept clean and safe, i.e floors were clear of any debris and floors were dry and using correct chemicals and safety signs when required. Duties also required insuring all areas had the correct PPE and all chemicals were locked away safely and the end of each shift.
KITCHEN ASSISTANT - STEDMUNDS CARE HOME

For the last 2+ years o have been working in the kitchen as a kitchen assistant, i have enjoyed working in the kitchen and my roll has included washing up, food preparation, cleaning of kitchen, deep cleaning, cooking, making and decorating residents birthday cakes. My main duties are to insure the kitchen is kept in clean and hygienic following CQC regulations, to insure the head chef has all equipment clean and sterile ready for use. I have also been a relief cook, i would cook two meal choices, set by head chef, i would also prepare and make a variety of cakes a desserts for 40 residents.

My role as a carer at one to one involved travelling to service users homes and assisting with every day tasks, this would involve assisting them of bed, washing assist with them dressing and being ready for the re day. I would make meals, drinks and insure they had everything they needed to hand before leaving. This role required you to be organised and timely as most users had there own time slots and some would involve you meeting with other carers if a user rreqeired two people the role also included me to assist users with the re medication and to insure that the correct medication was taken at the correct time.

As a christmas temp working at argos my duties was to collect items from the storage area and serve customers and insure customers had the correct order.
RECEPTIONIST - SUMMERFIELD HOLIDAY PARK

At summerfield holiday park my role was a receptionist, duties included welcoming guest and getting them booked in. Answer the phone, taking any requests that guest may have and insuring that the information was handed to the correct people, informing guest of any special events that were taking place during the re stay. Making welcome packs for guest and overall insuring guests enjoyed there stay.
