I am an English Literature Masters graduate with a passion and talent for editing.
During my profession career I completed a year as editor of The Gown, independent student newspaper. In this position I reactivated the newspaper after a year of inactivity, received funding to redesign our website, and got nominated for Newspaper of the Year at the SMEDIA awards. In this position I oversaw the work of over 20 journalists, which included editing, fact checking, and formatting for the website. Additionally, I oversaw the marketing for our newspaper, this involved directing a social media team, this experience developed my communication and collaboration skills. I also held and oversaw interviews, this included conducting an interview and writing an article on The Apiary literary magazine's most recent publication.
I am a graduate of Queen's University Belfast, with a Masters degree in English Literature, and an Undergraduate degree in English.
