Working both front of house and pot washing, I am called upon to serve customers, take orders both over in person and over the phone, working the till, clearing tables, preparing drinks and serving food. This position plays to my communication and people skills, has developed my attention to detail, memory and ability to work well under pressure.

I have provided babysitting services to families of young children. Here I listen to, play with, care for and put them to bed. I am trusted, responsible and caring. This work has my developed my patience, listening and flexibility skills with a wide variety of people.

Part-time Labourer - IS Building and Joinery

I work as a part-time labourer, assisting with roofing and kitchen fittings. Gaining this experience has enabled me to learn to communicate effectively with other workers and customers, and use my mathematical, lateral thinking and practical skills in a real-life situation

Volunteer - Marsden Kids Club

I volunteered at Marsden Kids Club, initially to achieve my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh award it later became an enjoyable weekly experience. Here I supported core staff to run activities, snack and circle time and get involved with the children whilst sharing my knowledge with a younger audience to develop my creativity and emotional intelligence.

Holiday Club Support Staff - Grow To School CIC

Supporting staff to run holiday clubs focused around food growing, healthy eating and outdoor activities for primary aged school children. I was involved in engaging with the children, giving instructions, demonstrating and clearly communicating outcomes whilst allowing them freedom to explore and learn.
