I'm a passionate, hard-working, team player. Seeing myself as valuable within a team for my leading by example quality. Long hours and hard work are part of my upbringing as a farmer's son to 750acres between my dad and brother. I'm quick and adaptable to all learning, constantly wanting to expand my skill sets and be the best of my ability. I'm well-spoken and come across extremely well, I gained this from working in customer service since the age of 11 at agricultural shows supporting my mum's clothing business.
Since I can remember I have been working on the family farm alongside my brother, dad, and grandad. Something that has been the case for 4 generations going on 5. This ranged from operating machinery to cleaning grain stores etc. Throughout this time, I have supported my mum's business, selling children's clothing to agricultural shows.
At the age of 15, I got a job through year 10 work experience at a dog kennel which I kept alongside my family duties. I left this job once I moved to uni in 2016.
While studying in London I held 3 jobs to support my lifestyle: I was a nanny for a family in Chelsea 2 days a week, picking the child up from school, cooking and sending him to bed, etc, and 2 bar jobs: one in stadium events where I served in the player and press lounges at Wembley and London Stadium. The other is at Tamisis dock in Vauxhall, Tamisis dock on the river opposite, house of parliament.
Once Covids first lockdown was over I took employment in the renewable energy sector on a 1megawatt, 1-man, anaerobic digester in my local area. Managing the site and liaising with the CEO via WhatsApp, and email. As well as performing light and heavy maintenance on all areas of the plant, including engine and electrics which is Clark energy jurisdiction.
I have left this job to follow my degree and find a career path in the media. Something I should have done sooner when the covid restrictions were lifted.
