I am 16 years old and currently work part time at The Mews Restaurant & Hotel. I am also studying electrical installations at Leeds college of building and my availability includes Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I have proven myself to be punctual, reliable, willing and trustworthy.
All 3 of my employers can provide a reference which can verify this. I am hard working and conscientious and am willing to learn new skills in a number of environments. I also feel that I am able to communicate well with all types of people in a polite and courteous manner.
I am happy to take on any manual work and am in good health as I attend the gym daily and I also play rugby.
Kitchen Assistant at The Mews Hotel & Restaurant (2026-01 – Present)
My main role at The Mews has been as a kitchen assistant. I help the chef to prepare more simple meals and starters and carry out any additional duties required to help the team. I ensure that the kitchen is maintained to a high level of cleanliness at all times and am responsible for ensuring that the area is left to a safe and clean standard at the end of each shift.
During busier periods I also help out behind the bar and serve tables. I enjoy front of house work and dealing with customers, but I am also happy to work within the kitchen team.
