I am an aspiring urban designer who has built various experiences internationally, in South Korea, Australia, and the UK. I love traveling and gaining new experiences, understanding the local culture and interacting with the local community. This drive always motivates me to create the future I want to have.
Working in the UK would broaden my understanding of life, form, and shared urban systems to deliver an effective impact on equity, health, and sustainability. I value people above all and as a diligent and prospective worker/creator, I always try my best to achieve and exceed expectations.
During my undergraduate studies, I participated in ‘The Urban Regeneration School’ as an assistant tutor. It was a government & university cooperation project to encourage involvement in town activities and offer an educational opportunity on the knowledge of Urban Regeneration. I led a team of residents, business owners, and urban planning experts to examine constraints and opportunities and gathered ideas.
While I was meeting stakeholders and residents, I was able to improve my public communication skills and presentation skills. After the project, the local government officially implemented the policies based on our proposed plans.
I currently completed my master’s in Urban Design with a PG award distinction from Newcastle University which has helped me gain a deep sense of British cities and housing alternatives.
