I am an adaptable and resourceful individual, possessing pragmatic thinking and a proactive attitude; as a result I am an enthusiastic and resourceful problem solver. As an achiever I am versatile with the ability to achieve both independently and as a key team member, with the ability to collaborate and motivate a team effort to achieve an objective. With a proven track record of meeting deadlines, working under pressure and attaining targets, I confidently and enthusiastically rise to any task or challenge.

Being versatile and adaptable, I am quick-learner with the willingness to further develop and learn. I have broad and varied experience in working with young people and special needs children. My extensive and assorted experience portfolio has given me an adaptable and diverse ability in working with and for the interest, of different types of people in various environments; expressing understanding, empathy and building rapport.

My experience has developed and instilled strong communication and interpersonal skills. I have a 18yr old down syndrome nephew who I love, adore and have cared for most of his life. I have great experience working with early years SEN children with PMLD/ASD/SLD.

I have done a lot of personal care, makaton, speech and language therapy and intensive interaction.
