I currently work as a Support Worker for homeless/vulnerable 16-25 year old's who live within supported housing. I often have the opportunity to organise activities for our clients which is a fabulous outlet for my creative side. I am often praised during my supervision sessions for thinking outside of the box creatively when organising such activities.
I would like to find a career where I am able to combine my caring nature with my creative/artistic personality whilst also supporting people to achieve thier personal goals.
I have mostly worked in customer service roles however, after working in call centres for many years I wanted to do something more fulfilling and totally changed career by becoming a Support Worker. I have been in this role for 3 years now and have completed training in the areas of safeguarding Adults and children, mental heatlh, trauma informed care, deescalation techniques, addiction, fire warden, fest aid, neurodivergence and many more.
I am educated to college level. I have a Diploma in vacational education, a BTEC First Certificate in fine Art and a BTEC National Certificate in Interior Design all of which I earned at Eastleigh College.
