I initially started working for Npower through an agency on a temporary contract and this was made permanent after 1 year. For the last few years while I was working for Npower I was on the 'buddy team' which involved helping to train new members of staff in call taking and advising them on Prepayment queries within the call centre. During quiet times in the call centre I also used to help other departments deal with both written and verbal customer complaints.

I worked for the DWP for 1 year on a temporary contract. My main role there was to locate people who had unpaid court fines using personal information provided by the courts such as Name, DOB or National Insurance number. This information was fed into a database and possible matches were found, the best match was then passed back to the courts through detailed paperwork.

Waitress / Bar Staff - The Waggon Team

I worked at The Waggon Team which is a restaurant and bar for 2 years. When I first joined the team here I was 16 years old and employed to be a waitress in the restaurant. I often volunteered to help in other areas of the business while working as part of the team to cover sickness and holidays. When I turned 18 I also started working shifts behind the bar. I worked as part of a large team in this fast paced work place and excellent customer service and flexibility were essential.
