I pride myself on my professional approach and time management skills and can work well using my initiative as an individual or collaboratively as part of a team. Being goal oriented, with a strong work ethic, I enjoy using my initiative to problem solve by taking a flexible and enthusiastic approach to fulfilling my role and responsibilities. My previous employers have noted my attention to detail when dealing with administration tasks and my customer engagement skills; as I try to add value to the customer experience at every opportunity.

College Shop Assistant - Truro College

I work on the till taking cash and card payments for items in the shop as well as keeping the college shop clean and tidy and help with stocking up the shop and I also do the hoovering at the end of the working day and also look after progression pathways students for their work experience.

Volunteer Retail Assistant - Various Charities

Worked for Cornwall Hospice Care; Oxfam; British Heart Foundation; YMCA Charity Shop. I am passionate about the important role that charities play in modern day society and as such I am a committed volunteer. My responsibilities in the role relate to all aspects of first line customer support in the retail environment.

Working with customers to ensure their in-shop experience exceeds their expectations by delivering services to exacting standards and maintaining service quality. I take an open and friendly approach when engaging with customers, that requires on occasion, for you to think quickly on your feet.

All aspects of in store work. This involved working to strict company guidelines and government regulation; in particular those associated with health and safety. I always took an enthusiastic approach in an attempt to deliver the best customer experience.

All aspects of hospitality work. I enjoyed the variety offered in this role as it varied from office administration to working with students on a day to day basis and helping in the Coffee shop and helping with setting up and clearing away after functions.
