My role as owner of GB Tiles & Bathrooms covered all aspects of running a retail showroom, warehouse and a distribution service. I had a hands on approach including

• serving retail and trade customers at the service counter, dealing with telephone and email enquires, stock control and book keeping
• the loading of deliveries by forklift, pallet truck or by hand and delivering orders by van to residential and business customers
• I would daily meet suppliers and contractors to achieve the best quality of product's and prices for the business

My role at Lancashire tiles was a multi drop delivery driver and merchandiser supplying tiles and bathrooms to business customers and setting up displays in bathroom showrooms.

Multi drop driver/ Warehouse operative - Chemix Uk Ltd - Wigan

(1999-04 - 2001-08)

My role at Chemix uk was split working in a chemical waste site and a chemical warehouse for two weeks, I would deliver chemicals around the UK in a 7.5 tonne vehicle on the other two weeks

Postal Driver - Royal Mail - Wigan

I started my fist job with Royal Mail as a postal cadet, during my service with Royal Mail I have gained experience in customer service, working different shift patterns and working in teams, prioritising my daily work schedule, I have also achieved safe driving awards delivering parcels and mail to residential and business customers and cash to post offices in a secured vehicle.
