I’ve worked in heritage conservation for 6, almost 7 years, love every aspect of my job from working on Normandy dday tanks to windows in a cathedral, no two weeks are the same. In my spare time I volunteer for wildlife trust and out most weekends with them, I enjoy swimming, walking, bike riding, roller skating, painting, crocheting, card making, all sorts of crafts, i do abit of yoga and aerial I’ve always loved to learn new activities and been open to try any adventure :)
my job involves a lot of hands on and using power tools etc, over the years I’ve gained a lot of skills via restoration over a wide range of - wood work, metal work, painting, gold leaf, I’ve been involved in the restoration of the flaxmil Shrewsbury, the dday tanks in Portsmouth museum, liverpool cathedral, etc, each week is different and you never know whats next :)
