Key Skills in this degree:
Research and Presentation skills – There were many opportunities to research new topics and then make presentations to my peers over the information I had found. I believe this would be key in a role like this.
Organisation – Working to multiple deadlines while achieving strong marks and prioritising certain tasks when more appropriate. In addition, starting to write regularly for pleasure outside of university whilst studying shows my strong organisation skills.
Communication – Good communication with my lecturers was needed to achieve the best marks, especially when in a Covid-restricted environment. Strong written communication is also a key aspect of scientific writing, such as with my final year project which achieved 77%.
