I am an ambitious driven individual looking to use my existing experience to further my career aspirations of working for a progressive company.
I will look to use my previous experience working in a well-respected law firm to transition into a new role. This time spent working within a law firm has made me realise that there is not a singular route to reach the goals I have set for myself and I am looking to grow and develop my skills. I believe this role would be a strong step forward in helping me achieve my ambitions as I look to grow within a company.
I have gained work experience in a number of different sectors including work experience at Next Plc, Young-Moore Landscapers, Saffron Building Society and Tant Laboratories. This range of experience has provided me with insight into different areas of work and allowed me to grow more confident in my skills to communicate with different clients.
Had more than a year’s experience as a Paralegal at HRJ Foreman and was engaged directly in client matters. In my role, I learnt the following skills:
- Legal Drafting: Real law firm drafting is different to law school and I developed my skills to a level that allowed solicitors to rely on my work product.
- Teamwork: Worked closely with colleagues and external solicitors to ensure a seamless transaction. The qualities I showed in this regard would, I believe, enable to me to transition quickly into a new team and to learn the team dynamic quickly.
- Software Proficiency: Am now proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, HMLR and Companies House Portal, Practical Law and DocuSign.
- Client Relations: Reported to clients to maintain strong bonds and managed their portfolios allowing me to build strong and trustworthy relationships through effective communication.
- Caseload Management: Dealt with a dedicated case load ensuring their steady progression and timely completion.
