I am a motivated, hardworking and ambitious student who enjoys challenging myself and developing new skills. I am friendly, approachable and comfortable communicating with different people. I take pride in being reliable and putting genuine effort into whatever I am doing, whether that is education, work, sport or personal goals.
I have experience working in busy environments, including fast food and market work, where I learned how to deal with customers, follow instructions, work efficiently and remain calm under pressure. I am comfortable adapting to situations where there are multiple things happening at once and understand the importance of maintaining a positive attitude. Outside of education and work, I put a lot of time into boxing, gym training and maintaining my fitness.
These interests have taught me discipline, consistency and how important it is to work towards long-term goals rather than expecting immediate results.
I have experience working in a fast-food environment where the workplace could become extremely busy, particularly when there were large numbers of customers and several orders that needed to be dealt with at the same time. This taught me how to remain calm and focused when under pressure. I learned to work efficiently, listen carefully to instructions, communicate with other members of the team and make sure customers were treated respectfully.
Rather than allowing a stressful or busy environment to affect my attitude, I learned to focus on what needed to be done and keep working. This experience gave me a better understanding of teamwork, customer service and the importance of being dependable when other people are relying on you.
I have also gained experience working in a market environment, which involved interacting with different people and adapting to a changing and sometimes busy workplace. This helped develop my confidence when speaking to customers and colleagues and taught me to take responsibility for completing tasks properly. It also made me more comfortable dealing with situations that I had not experienced before and thinking practically about what needed to be done.
