About

I am a confident and enthusiastic young professional who has utilised the opportunities provided to me to develop by skills, knowledge, and behaviours. I have recently left college following a successful three years studying Law, Criminology and Psychology and I am looking for the next step in my professional career. I have been employed as a kitchen assistant and took on a volunteering role alongside my father as a coach/player for my local football team.

I have a proven record of being an effective team member, understanding the importance of being able to work with others and using my organisational and communication skills to ensure I can achieve tasks. Since the age of 15, I have worked for the same company, where I have used opportunities to develop skills that will support my professional growth. In both that role and my volunteering role, I have gained experience across a range of tasks and responsibilities, enabling me to work flexibly and perform effectively under pressure while meeting priorities and deadlines.

To support my long-term goals, I am seeking an employment opportunity that will allow me to build on my educational achievements and professional experience. I am keen to develop new skills and have a proven ability to learn quickly and effectively. I have a full driving licence and own car.

Experience

Kitchen Assistant at Cross Keys Public House (2022-08 – Present)

Work under the guidance of the Head Chef to ensure the kitchen is clean and operational.

To ensure the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
Washing Utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately
Sorting, storing, and distributing ingredients
Assisting the Head Chef with preparation of meal ingredients
Organising and correctly storing food supplies
Reviewing kitchen inventory to determine what items are needed
Reviewing sell-by dates and rotating food stock

Coach Assistant at Ferryhill Town Football Club (2022-08 – 2024-05)

To assist the Coach in delivering a coach sessions and organise football matches

Demonstrate movements to players, offering support and assistance where necessary
Offering support to the less abled participants or new players
Ensuring key data is collected at sessions, including taking a register, assisting with registration forms and on occasions evaluation forms
Assist the coach to set up and clear away equipment
Using a range of verbal and electronic methods to Communicate key information with a diverse group of players or supporters
Use Microsoft packages to produce advertising/sponsorship materials
Support coach to conduct training sessions
