A soon to be MSc graduate of Environmental Science from the University of East Anglia specializing in agriculture. Graduated in 2022 from the University of Warwick with a high 2:1 BaSc in History and Global Sustainable Development.
2022-2023: Member of the Suffolk and Norfolk County Council Carbon Charter Panel. In this role I assisted through an advisory role examining businesses to decide the level of accreditation to certify with a carbon charter affiliation. The aim of this project is to diminish the impacts of green washing and incentivise the decrease of emissions from businesses.
Summer 2021: Volunteer Research Officer at Cwm Arian Renewable Energy. This role included being a researcher and co-author of a research report for an ongoing project, Pembrokeshire Energy Efficiency Programme (PEEP), concerning the efficiency of energy throughout Pembrokeshire. I was also an assistant on a research project, Heath and Hedgerows, focusing on utilizing biomass waste from heath and hedgerows in Pembrokeshire.
2015 - Present: Farm Assistant and Manager at Tydu Farm and Livery. As part of Tydu Farm Organics and Livery, I support the farm owner in aspects including business planning and general support. This includes the preparation and assistance in Soil Assocation inspections.
I manage and organize the maintenance of Sustainable Environmental schemes such as Glastir. Conduct yearly and long-term business planning and forecasting as well as administration and accounts. General animal welfare, animal breeding and rearing planning.
