Clients would trust me to be responsible and reliable as I was trusted to be in someone’s home with valuables and expenses lying around. From this job I was able to work under time constraints as other clients homes needed to be cleaned the same day, so working effectively was imperative for this role.

As a waitress I was required to bring out and collect food and glasses during very busy periods and quite periods. This role helped me build on my people skills as making conversation with customers was a huge part of the role I entitled. Having positive customer feedback meant customers were very likely to return giving the company a good reputation so having good people skills was very important.

(2017 - 2020)
I began my employment as a carer in 2017 whereby I was required to look after, change, cloth and feed residents. This job was very mentally and emotionally challenging as people here were faced with all sorts of complex health issues such as dementia, Alzheimer’s and other old age related issues. During my time as a carer it really gave me a chance to connect with the residents and make their everyday life that little bit easier. I treat them how I would want my family members to be treated.
Support worker 1-1 - Precedo health care services
(2020 - 2021)
Similarly to my care assistant job, this job involved the same duties as before however I was a 1-1 care support worker meaning I had one client at a time and would work along side them from their home comforts. This job enabled me to build strong relationships with my clients and I encountered many duties such as cleaning up, bathing, feeding and giving medications at set times to my clients. This job not only required me to physically care for my clients but to emotionally and mentally care for them too.
