My passion for art goes back to when I was old enough to hold a paintbrush.
This passion continued growing and eventually manifested in a love for graphic design. Straight after high school, I enrolled in a 2-year HND Graphic Design course at Glasgow Clyde College that immersed me in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and other apps in Creative Cloud. Throughout my time there I Iearned to work effectively in a team, creating client presentations and proposals. I emerged with a portfolio that includes brochures, logos, posters, business cards, and leaflets.
After college, I decided to expand the knowledge I already had and enrolled in BSc Digital Media and Interaction Design at Edinburgh Napier University. During my time studying here, I have obtained knowledge in a variety of skills, including UI/UX Design, Animation, and Digital Marketing. In the past three years, I have created design documents and presentations that outline my ideas within the classroom.
I have always loved bringing my passion for creativity into everything that i work on, and hope to continue this in the working world.
I am still a student so I don't have a lot of professional experience. However, I have worked with clients in the past to create stylised branding to help promote their businesses. This includes creating logos and artwork that is published online, leaflets that are shown in house and aiding them in creating a website to showcase their business.
I also had my own etsy business during lockdown where I created digital artwork including posters, stickers and badges. I also offered commission pieces.
I studied graphic design for two years at Glasgow Clyde College, receiving my HNC and HND. I currently study BSc Digital Media and Interaction Design at Edinburgh Napier University and will graduate next year.
