I currently work in a very busy GP practice as a medical receptionist with secretarial responsibilities as well as clinical coding patient information. The surgery has 10 GPs and 5 nurses. I work reception and telephones when I am not coding. I provide clinical support to doctors, working as a liaison between the doctors and patients to get appointments made and relevant information passed on. I love working with the general public, helping patients and making a difference in healthcare.
